Our Programs

Show or no Show, we provide opportunities for everyone.

  • Horses Explorers Ages 4-6

At this age, independence is achieved as students learn with a “helper” without the need for a parent as they prepare to learn to ride. Instructors teach the young students to become independent from the helpers over time.

This activity lasts approximately 30 minutes so the child gains confidence by learning about the horse before getting on their back.

Additionally, muscle memory, focus and confidence are rapidly developing. Kids will then ride approximately 30 minutes in the round pin and learn bareback exercises to prepare them for further skills required to ride on their own. Upper body strength is developed along with a growing appreciation of respect, patience, and gentleness.

Let’s get your child introduced to the Equine Journey.

  • Private Lessons - Youth (5-12)

At this age our focus is on building confidence by emphasizing awareness and safety around ponies and horses. Our students are posting bareback at a very young age. They learn early body awareness (including simple anatomy) and exercises that help develop posture and strong trunk control.

Students also gain upper body strength with the use of special reins for little hands. Self-control is emphasized at this level. Lessons are private until the young rider learns to navigate safely in the arena with other riders These classes are one hour in length and include preparing the horse to ride through grooming and tacking. Most importantly, children learn early to respect and be kind to our equine friends.

    Riding time 30 min weekly.

  • Teens (13-17)

Whether your teen has never been on a horse or has ridden for many years, they will enjoy the fun activities at the barn that will help them improve their skills and grow into responsible, respectful equine leaders. Communication is emphasized – both with the horses and with each other.

At this age we offer private and group lessons.

  • Adult

Adult Lessons are also offered at our facility, trailer in your personal horse or lesson on one of our many horses. Adult lessons are one hour in length. If you are a seasoned rider, an older rider just getting started back or a new rider, we have structured lesson plans for you.
